Final year student dies after graduation By Echofe Walter Uchenna
The Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Unwana in Afikpo, Ebonyi State, was literally in ecstatic mood penultimate recently over the untimely demise of Mr. Pablo Hilary, HND final year student in the department of Public Administration who died in an auto crash along Unwana Afikpo road, Ebonyi State few hours after rounding up his final paper.

According to I-Reports, the deceased left his friends to pick up friend with a motorcycle bike by 5pm in evening after he received a phone call adding that the deceased rode into a coming vehicle in a bid to overtake a 911 heavy duty vehicle.
The was confirmed dead after several attempts to save his life proved abortive.
In similar a vein, a course mate to the deceased who pleaded anonymity said that the late Pablo was with him and some other friends when he received a phone call to pick up a friend. According to him, " the late Pablo told me that he needed to go and pick up a friend.. I didn’t ask him how long it will take him because I believed it was within Unwana. I became nervous when I heard the news of an accident along Unwana Afikpo road, Then, I tried calling his number, that was when it dawned on me that Pablo is yet to come back . I later received a call from my course mate who broke the sad news to me, I had to go down to the hospital where he was rushed and was finally confirmed dead after our prayers couldn't work".
