we started eating our rice staring occasionally at each other with smiles. It was then my head remembered that music has been playing in the bar. I repeat: if you get problem eh, fun is the last thing you think of. Now my problem has been solved I can now hear music, Jombo by Kiss Daniel.

At about 6:51pm, we finished our food. I was not the party type and if we are actually going to party, it can't be today because I didn't prepare for that. After some other personal discussions mostly of how we've lived in pretence to each other, we decided to leave the hotel.

I took her to the receptionist stand(abi wetin them dey call am) and ordered for a take-away for her. At first she refused but after I pressured her to take it, she went ahead to order for her room mate as she will ask for hers once she sees that. I decided to reduce troubles and told the attendant to make it 3. 

They gave it to her and I stood there to take my bill. She went to receive a call because of the noise from the speaker.

Me: Where is the bill na?

Waiter: Please a minute sir. Sir your bill is N12900.

Me: Ehn?

Waiter: Sir your bill is N12900.

That was when it downed on me that all these while, we've been in a hotel. I started talking to myself. Nawa o. I think say we even dey road side restaurant self. Nor be say them dey refund food. Which kind wahala be this? Na this girl con reconfigure my brain? How will I deal with this? I will disgrace myself here?

I dialed James' number, switched off. I dialed Henry, not reachable.

What is this na? Then I sighted Favour coming back. I have to deal with this alone. I walked up to her.

Me: Baby, there is something I have to deal with oh!

Favour: What's that?

Me: I have to go to my friend's place from here. There's something important that came up. (I brought out N200 and gave to her as transport fare.)

She was looking at me. She knew I was lying but had no proof whatsoever.

She looked at me again and asked if everything was okay and I told her there's no problem. She requested I at least see her off but I gave her a look that made her to start going.
