James: Which money?

Me: Stop oh!

James: Mumu, shey you dey form nigga before. I go give you tomorrow if I come school. Just book your game keep.
************
Later when they left, I took my bath, left home and went to buy peak milk. After drinking it, I slept off. I wanted my brain to be cool. I woke up around 1am(Nigerians can do anything for money) I picked up my phone straight to Opera mini. I checked all the prediction sites I trusted and current form of teams and managed to carve out 6odds. I went back to sleep with a shaky heart.(I needed to win the game seriously).

The next day being a Saturday. when we came back from school around 11am,, they gave my the money as they promised(friends like no other). They even followed me to where I registered the game. They didn't bother to cross check the game as they felt I knew sports better or so I thought.

We went back home. I had the hope of winning 6k. That was when I realised we all remember God when we are in serious need. I started praying for bet9ja again. Hmmm, money yab man.

We were all at home. We managed to eat rice and beans cooked by Henry. I was sweating like a Student who is suffering from stage fright.

The bet was actually 5games( I don't want to give you the details of the bet as in I won't tell you the matches).

As at when we finished eating, the first two games that started at the same time have played as predicted. I have 3 more games to worry about. I was already losing weight. And my friends could keep quiet any longer.

Henry: (Pointing to me with his hand like that of Deigo Costa when complaining to referee) see this one. See watin woman dey do you.

James: Yes oh! You wey nor dey fear to loose bet.

Me: (I just looked at them like that calabar boy, Okon and kept Quiet).

Henry: He nor even see mouth talk.

James: Oya make we go play ball na. At least, ur brain go comot for there.

Henry: Na true o.

Me: Na so people tell una say them dey field?

James: come make we leave am dey go.
**************************************
They stood up to go.
*********************
Me: Make una wait for me o. I picked up my jersey and gave to them too.( I actually had 3 kits for training. 2 Manchester United and the other one, Real Madrid).

We got to Nshiagu college and we met some guys playing team soccer. A team was made up of three players. And they already had 4 teams. We formed a team to make it 5 teams.

When it got to our turn, we started the game and I was the flop as it took less than 5 minutes before we conceded a goal and we were out of the game. My guys were not pleased at all. I picked up my phone to open live score and my phone announced that I have an empty battery. I was relieved somehow. I will check the game once. All die na die like Gordons would say.

Soon it was our turn again. We were ready for the game. Henry was the defender (Vidic), James was the midfielder (Fabregas, he is actually a Chelsea fan) and I was the Attacker(Javier Hernandez but had the characteristics of many Man Utd players. I actually learn football from film hall and not from any coach).

We played mass attack and mass defence, we won the first set on penalty and went ahead to win 8 consecutive games. I scored 5goals. James scored 1(but made about 6 assists) and Henry scored 2.

When we were removed from the game, we were tired and decided to go home. We got home and I switched on the generator to power on my phone. The first time I'm touching the generator since the day Favour came. I do charge my phone at school but they don't switch the Generate ON on Saturdays that was why my phone get mind off.

I powered my phone on. From my rough calculation, the last two games which are playing at the same time should be in the 86th minute. I opened opera mini and decided to use www.futbol24.com (a football score website) to check the scores.

What I saw on my phone was breath taking. I refused to believe it so I opened Live scores.

The two matches playing were not that pleasing. I needed one more goal each from the home teams and it was already in the 89th minute. I just sat on the ground. Words couldn't explain how I felt at that moment. I almost cried. In fact, I cried. What will I tell Favour who is already prepared for tomorrow.

I was still lost in my thought when Henry jumped up and ran outside with my phone. I was confused and afraid at the same time. Is this boy now mad? Is there any danger that he is running for safety? I looked at James. I don't know what was in his mind. I couldn't stay in the room any longer, I was afraid. I went out and he followed me. We met him dancing outside like the next thing is to start picking nylon on the ground. I was just looking.

James: Henry you well so?

Henry: No. actually, na two of una nor well.

Me: Hmm!

Henry: If una know wetin I know, una nor go stand there dey look me. Make una come dance jhor.
***"******************************************
My mind raced to the scores of the match. Could it be that the Full Time result favoured us? I reached to him and grabbed the phone from him. I opened live score and lo and behold. The two teams scored in extra time. See miracle oh!

Dance for real. I showed James and we went back inside after the dance. Not like it was a big money as I've won money more than that by far but at the moment, it meant millions to me. At inside, their madness started.

Henry: You see? You for don die by now oh! Na we for chop the money for you. We for use am buy casket for you.

James: Nor mind am. Na so he turn cripple for carpet. Him wey dey always talk say 90 minutes na im be game time.

Henry: Na woman configure him brain na.

Me: Hey! E don do abeg. Wetin we go chop?

James: Mumu food man.

Henry: Nor mind am. Who know if he for even chop today to say the game nor play.

Me: I nearly tear the ticket self.

James: Bring am make I help you.

Me: Animal.
**************
I managed to make eba and we ate before they left. My joy knew no bound that night. I was dancing around the room like Paul Pogba even when I knew I don't know how to dance.

It got to the extent that I had to dance 'You Are Great' (by Steve crown) with Shoki.

See eh, you nor need alcohol to dey high oh! Over happiness dey high person.

I called Favour and we talked for about 8minutes but said nothing about tomorrow. I had my bath and took a tin of peak milk before I went to the film hall to watch a Laliga match.

I came back, continued playing music with my phone. I logged in Facebook and noticed I haven't been online since morning. (When you have worries, fun is the last thing you think of). I dealt with things I needed to deal with and arranged my wall before I slept off. My body was not in order. The football we played was on me as it has been long I played football. No time actually if not, I Love Football.
*****************************
It was already Sunday, time check 6:48am. That was when I woke up. I got ready for church and was actually the first person to get to church apart from those workers that were having their 7am-8am Worker's meeting. After the worker's meeting, we had our Sunday school class. I was actually the Man of Class as I had the answer to all questions, read roughly 80% of the Bible quotes and I was the only one who stood up to contribute to the topic after the teacher finished teaching. I was super excited and it was showed by my output in the Sunday school class. There was nothing more I could do to show God that I appreciate what He did for me.
The church service came to an end by 11:12am. I got home, dropped my Bible and went straight to collect my money from those people. I got to the shop and what I saw, I couldn't believe it.

Ghost readers (people who read without commenting or even pressing like) shey you know that thunder is seeing you.

To my readers.
Hope you had a nice day?

That is Favour's photocopy in that pics. I told you she looks like a Korean girl. I saved that picture from a Korean movie called ''The Princess' Man'' and at first I thought she was the one on the screen.
