Hope for Female Leaders

A Campaign Against Male Chauvinism

I should voice out my opinion on this v ital issue... Female leaders have been suffering a great deal for a long time; we have been cheated and looked on as irrelevant, we have been trashed on and handled as the weaker vessels.
On the issue of Emerald vs Lamba: I was working peacefully in my office when I heard the news that Emerald, the vice president, students union Ibukun led administration was severely beaten, battered and has been admitted in the hospital. I was shocked and decided to make my investigations as to what led to such inhumane act and disrespect to the office.

As a lady leader, who has also occupied such position before, I make bold to assert that the kind of treatment, disrespect and disregard mounted by the other executives of the union is nothing to write home about. Then I began to wonder, was this act directly related to the fact that the office is occupied by a female, was it because the male counterparts feel and assume the female are weak and can do nothing to get what they want or what rightly belong to us?

I can vividly remember what some of my executive colleagues said then  "I am a woman and one day, I will be married so I should learn how to be submissive". You can imagine!! The statement meant I should be submissive to cheating and other callous and funny act. Not possible!!!

I can say that Emerald was beaten, humiliated and unjustly treated and oppressed by members of the executives because she wasn't submissive to their their plan to steal from the union. She was voiced down because she disagree with their plan to loot the union funds!! She was beaten to a coma though she tried to fight back, that she was admitted in the hospital for days and different lies written about her to paint her evil. That is what female leaders are going through.

As to the man called Lamba, the 'hacagone' that can beat a lady and headbut very well. What a pity! I even heard that he usually beats his female friends and even sisters. I wonder how such a person became a leader of the union in the first place; someone who has no regards or respect for the female, who has proven himself to be the king of domestic violence criminals. He should be properly dealt with and taught a lesson he will not forget so soon.

To other female leaders out there, this is a great assignment for us all. It is time we stand against the injustice, infidelity vented out to us by some male leaders out there, because we are strong and courageous and brave. We shouldn't give room to undue submissiveness to cheating and fraudulent act by these men. Let us be strong and fight back the corruption and violence coming from those looser that call themselves leaders.
