I roughly thought of things that could have made the light go off.

I had some idea. It could be that the system have experienced over voltage so the circuit breaker was forced to go off. The fuse to the Distribution Board of the building could have also got burnt or the The distribution unit has turned off itself.
My only confusion was that the Admin was crying (as in complaining bitterly) that such thing has never happened before.
Why e come happen today?
I was afraid of starting something I couldn't end. I was still contemplating on whether to give it a trial or not when the guy that was hosting the birthday for his babe burst in in fury, complaining bitterly.
The Admin Officer was short of words. I knew in his mind, he should take them to B & G bar but it was already occupied and beside that was not what they bargained for and his only option was to take them to the event centre, their main hall for events like wedding, birthday, anniversaries, get together and probably burial (una don see where them dey do burial for hotel before? Lol)
I knew he was going to loose as fee for a Bar and an event centre can never be the same and he can't tell the guy to pay more money.
But wait o. So for all these boys wey dey do anyhow for here, nobody sabi trace fault make e be say he nor see am. Okayyyy! I understand. Them dey fear because say na standard generator. To say na Tiger generator now, them for don dey form boss. Nobody wan die but them wan go heaven.
After considering the Admin officer, I decided to see if what happened was in my power.
I asked for a touch and the Admin officer looked at my direction like 'watin dey worry this boy self, I dey talk of something wey serious he dey here dey talk anyhow. Watin he fit do for there?'
From what I saw in his face, if I can do this thing, I could be on my way by tomorrow's morning.
Nobody listened to my quest for a touch so I walked pass all of them to security stand. I begged for a touch and they gave me. I went back to the bush bar to search for the DB.
I saw it at the outside corner of the swimming pool's changing room under the upper entrance to the gym house. (if you like, read this story finish, mumu waka go that side. If current shock you, na you know).
I looked at the Distribution Board(DB)'s main switch and it has been turned off.
Watin come make this thing turn off?
I was happy it was a physical fault and not a spiritual one (yes, there are spiritual electrical faults. That one eh, you go dey see everything and them dey ok. Na im make you go wire house finish, power the house, some bulbs go light, some nor go light. Climb ceiling and all the connections go dey correct. You go confuse).
I was happy because it was a physical fault. (my own classification of fault please).
I was also confused because I don't know what forced it to turn off(now this is spiritual fault)
I summoned courage and prepared to do something. I climbed up to meet the DB. I turned all the Amps OFF and turned ON the main switch to the DB. There was no spark and I didn't know if there was current or not as I was not with my Neon screw driver (tester) and it's not a type of current you can just put your hand to test if there's voltage or not. (if you try am, you nor go dey alive dey read this story).
I looked at the Amps and turned on one I felt should be a lighting point and luckily, I saw light rays from where I was. People shouted joyfully from the bar.
Nor be light these people come look o. They need the DJ's service and the Bar needs the fridge ON so I needed to make sure the socket outlet's Amp is ON too if my work here is to be 100%.
I was still looking carefully to get the socket outlet's Amp when I noticed some footsteps walking to my direction. I pointed touch on them and it was the Admin and the guy who hosted the party for his bae.
I continued my work. I turned ON one Amp I saw with 2.5mm wires which is supposed to be for socket outlets and before I could climb down to go and check if the DJ's socket now have current, the heavy speakers let out a scratch sound. Yes! It worked. The two people standing by were speechless. I walked passed them to the bar and found out the refrigerator was yet to receive power.
I climbed back to the DB and turned on a 30 Amp with 2.5mm wire which was supposed to be the supply for AC, Fridge, Electric stove and the rest and what I saw next was automatic power off.
Everybody in the bar who were already dancing to the DJ's ''when money nor dey'' shouted.
Shey I don finally spoil this thing?
