The 2017/ 2018 Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi-uku (DSPG) Student Union Government (SuG) Election held at the polytechnic permanent site yesterday the 14th day of July, 2017 has been won by Evangelist (Comr.) Okpe Patrick of the Department of Mass Communication.

Evangelist (Comr.) Okpe Patrick  who had a total of 189 Votes defeated his Opponent's Comr Alika Samuel from Business Administration  who a had total of 126 Votes and was declared the winner by DSPG Electoral Committee.
