Stay calm, union president advises

Students of the Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana has been advise to remain calm and continue with their academic activities.

This advise was issued by the Polytechnic President of Student Union Government (SUG), Comrade Desmond Principality Nnaemeka online through his facebook account.

Speaking,  he announced that the union is doing all it takes to address the issue of the additional payment of the sum of N2,000 that was added to the school fees. In the same vein he added that a meeting have been fixed with the polytechnic management to peacefully resolve the issue.

He further appreciated all for having approached and handled the issue wisely and reminded all students not to forget that the union is out to protect and speak for them but nevertheless trust,  support, agreement, obedience and one voice is the key to achieve this struggle.

He concluded that the union will update all students on the outcome of the proposed meeting and urges all to stand as one.
