SCHOOL FEES HIKE

Please, i want to ask "what are the obligations of the SUG body

we have on campus?

*Is it to collect #1000 for SUG fees and #500 for SUG Dairy?

*Or to change their space bus and drive around campus?

In my own opinion, i thought they're to fight for the well being and comfort of the students. And also intercedes and stand as a mediator b/w the students and the school authority.

Like the present predecament students are facing due to school fees hike. Lets be realistic & leave sentiment and tribalism aside because, ''the road that leads to one's man village also leads to another man's village''. Therefore,no one owns it all, even though one owns it all but we should not forget that life is full of ups and downs. An example is the Recession Nigeria citizens are facing now compare to before.

Though it is understood that it isn't by force that everyone must go to school but they are zealous and fervent once out they but they ain't really bouyant financially. About a #100,000 above for a year tuition fees in a public institution in this country isn't that just too much? How much will be our allowee during service?

In every institutions, we have three (3) categories of students:

1) 3:3 students: These are category of students which all their needs including money for airtime are being provided by their parents or sponsors.

2) 3:2 Students: These category of students has little similarities with the first one. But they make do with little assitance given to them by their sponsors and struggle the rest by themselves to meet up to their needs.

3) 3:1 Students: These set of students are known as "I send myself" they generate and provides every neccessities needed to succeed in school by themselves.

Having seen all this, we should be considerate and stop making life a bizarre for others who are already living from hand to mouth. We should not forget that all fingers ain't equal. #NoToHikeInSchoolFees.. #TeamDSPZ
