DSPG Re-open sales of HND forms

ADMISSION INTO HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) PROGRAMMES FOR THE 2016/2017 ACADEMIC SESSION

Applications are invited from all interested and qualified candidates for admission into the following NTBE accredited HND programmes of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-uku for the 2016/2017 academic session.

1.       AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES

          a.       School of Engineering

                   i.        welding and fabrication engineering

                   ii.       foundry engineering and technology

                   iii.      metallurgical engineering technology

          b.      School of Applied Science

                   i.        hospital and tourism management

                   ii.       mathematics and statistics

          c.       School of Arts and Design

                   i.        fashion design and clothing technology

                   ii.       fine and applied arts (sculpture, graphics and painting options)

          d.      School of Business

                   i.        production operation management

                   ii.       human resource management

2.      entry requirements

a.       National Diploma (ND) obtained with a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant disciplines from National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) accredited programmes with a minimum of one(1) year Industrial Training in the field of specialization.

b.      Candidates who obtained ND at Pass level with a minimum of two(2) years Industrial Training Experience. 

c.      GCE 'O' Level, SSCE (WAEC & NECO), NABTEB or its equivalent with at least five (5) Credit passes in relevant subjects in not more than two (2) sittings with Credits in Maths & English.

d.     candidates who gained admission into ND programme through JAMB inclusive of items (a) to (c) above.
