Complete your SIWES or face…

The Director of SIWES, Mr. Brickins Ogbemi of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku have strongly advised all ND2 students currently undergoing their compulsory Four (4) Months Industrial training (I.T) to complete the exercise before returning back to campus.

He issued this advise recently through an internal memo to demise the rumour that lectures have commenced as they have been misinformed.

He further advised all concerned students to complete their training programme or face the risk of repeating the I.T programme as it is a part fulfilment of their academic programme.

In the same vein, the internal memo stated that “supervisors shall soon be visiting all students currently on I.T. they are therefore advised to be at their duty post as any erring student will be sanctioned.

In conclusion, it was also stated in the internal memo passed that consequently, HODs, SIWES Co-ordinators should endeavor to  disseminate this information to all concerned students in their department.
